The SAA Collaboration lab is a four week, 6 hour program designed for Producers, Artists, and Songwriters to meet like-minded musical journeymen, (At similar levels and experience) to connect and create inspiring music that breaks new creative ground.

Whether you're very experienced, or new to collaboration, let our faculty pair you with Producers, Artists, & Songwriters that will prove engaging and creative.

Each session of the Lab gives you tools to focus on your writing to explore song ideas, tracks, to vocalize and critique your songs under construction as well as those of other groups of collaborators in your lab.

Expect to come away with 2 new songs/productions at the end of your time in the collaboration lab and to have written with a minimum of two sets of co-writers. The Lab format is as follows: WEEK 1 - Is a Writing Week You'll be assigned to a group and move into a Zoom breakout room with a designated producer/track/beat maker. The producer will share his screen with each member of the group containing all session info and a google doc so everyone can contribute lyrics to the session. You'll develop a concept and write a song collectively. You are welcome to keep working together as long as you like during the schedule weekly sessions. WEEK 2 - Is a Critique/Rewrite Week of your group's week 1 song. In week 2, we collectively critique your week 1 song with each group member taking notes on my suggestions and fellow CL members suggestions. Each group then breaks back out again into individual breakout rooms on Zoom to incorporate the critiques into thier week 1 song. WEEKS 3 AND 4: Repeat's weeks 1 & 2 format except you will be assigned a new group of collaborators
